Ted Lemmy is
Co-founder and President of Netmedic.
Ted’s path to
Netmedic started in consumer electronics. Ted went to work for a consumer
electronics retailer and soon specialized in repair of complex, large screen
televisions. Sought after by electronics retailers, Ted recognized similarities
between consumer devices and the PCs he built as a hobbyist. Deciding to
explore information technology he began, naturally enough, implementing workstations
and PCs. But the self-starting Lemmy quickly developed additional skills in
operating systems, networking and telecommunications.
Always
entrepreneurial, Ted soon launched a successful independent consulting
practice. For over two years, he represented clients while working with their
vendors, consulting firms and systems integrators.
In that role he
met a fellow independent consultant - Mike Houge. While working together, the
two recognized similar goals – and standards for high quality service. Ted and
Mike establishd a business plan for the kind of firm that would want to buy
from and work for. The name Netmedic stemmed from their respect for emergency
medical technicians and their desire to keep client’s IT operations healthy and
growing.
Ted makes a point
of spending time on hands-on work with clients. He believes that Netmedic
quality standards begin with him. By working closely with Netmedic personnel,
he can assure that they can always provide consistent, outstanding customer
service.
