Mike Houge is Co-founder and Vice President at Netmedic.

Mike has over thirteen years of experience in information technology implementation and management. Mike’s early interest in the IBM AS/400 began as an operations manager at the Texas facility of one of America’s largest value-added resellers and integration firms. In that role, he was responsible for a wide variety of customer services such as the configuration, testing and staging of IBM midrange mainframes as well as parts distribution and maintenance services.

An early student of client server and networking topologies, Mike soon recognized the opportunity to launch on his own. His independent consulting practice - that helped AS/400 clients take advantage of client server technologies - had thrived for over three years when he met fellow independent consultant Ted Lemmy.

Recognizing similar values and standards, the two planned a firm that could offer a wide range of technical support. Admiring the professionalism and responsiveness of emergency medical personnel, the two named the venture Netmedic.

Houge operates with a hands-on style and wears many hats: finance, marketing, sales and operations. But always a “tech” at heart, he insists on reserving time for client hands-on work with the company’s service technicians.
